About Nina Nicholson
I have over 20 years of experience in the nail and beauty industry, beginning my journey at just 18 years old when I opened my very first salon. Within a couple of years the business had grown significantly and I moved into larger premises, where I spent the next 14 years building a thriving salon and a strong reputation within the local area.
During that time I developed a talented team and created a busy, successful salon offering a wide range of nail, beauty and lash treatments. Our work became well recognised locally and the salon quickly became known for its high standards and loyal client base. I’m also incredibly proud of my former team members, who have all gone on to achieve wonderful things in their own careers.
After many years of running a large salon, I made the difficult decision to step back and rethink how I wanted my business and lifestyle to look. I chose to close the salon and create something more personal that would allow me to achieve a better balance between work and home life.
During that time I developed a talented team and created a busy, successful salon offering a wide range of nail, beauty and lash treatments. I’m also incredibly proud of my former team members, who have all gone on to achieve wonderful things in their own careers.

As anyone who knows me will tell you, I never do things by halves. I built a purpose-designed salon onto my home and this is where Nina Nicholson Beauty is now proudly based.
Working from my home salon allows me to offer a more personal, one-to-one experience for my clients while still delivering the same high standards and professional service I have always been known for.
It has also given me the freedom to continue developing my skills, explore new opportunities within the industry and expand into education through the Nina Nicholson Beauty Academy, where I share my knowledge and experience with the next generation of beauty professionals.
Creating this space has truly been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I use top quality brands who are industry leads. Such as Lecenté, Saviour, Lashbase and Elim. Only the best for my Clients!
I regularly undergo professional development training to ensure my knowledge is current, up to date and on trend with our ever changing and developing industry.
I aim to match any brief given to me by my clients.
My home salon is welcoming and modern and I pride myself on my strict hygiene measures. I provide a calm, clean relaxed space where clients can relax, unwind and most of the time have a bit of a giggle.
On site parking is available making the visit even easier and the salon very accessible.
